NSW: Sydney airport cordoned off after bomb found

SYDNEY, Dec 7 AAP - A section of Sydney airport was evacuated and cordoned off today
after the discovery of an unexploded mortar shell.

A police spokesman said the military ordinance was uncovered by a construction crew
working on the airport's long term carpark.

A fire brigade spokesman said the area had been evacuated and the military notified.
